The partnership aims to extend TAGTHAi Easy Pay across participating shopping malls, combining cashless payment methods with exclusive visitor privileges to drive tourist expenditure within Thailand's retail sector.
Mrs. Kanokwan Boonchai, Chief Executive Officer of TAGTHAi, stated that technology is increasingly central to how international visitors plan, pay, and travel. TAGTHAi Easy Pay broadens the platform's role beyond itinerary planning by offering a secure, convenient payment option that directly connects tourist spending with businesses across the country.

Developed specifically for international travelers, TAGTHAi Easy Pay operates as an e-Wallet service enabling users to exchange currency into Thai baht, top up their digital wallets, and execute transactions by scanning Thai QR Payment codes nationwide. This five-partner initiative embeds the payment system directly into major shopping destinations to channel tourism revenue straight into the local retail economy.
Tourists can accumulate same-day spending receipts across participating retail outlets within partner malls to qualify for tiered rewards. Benefits include a 300-Baht discount on the TAGTHAi Bangkok Pass and a complimentary BTS One-Day Pass valued at 150 Baht. As the official digital payment partner, KBank provides the secure payment infrastructure that powers TAGTHAi Easy Pay for international QR transactions.
"Technology is increasingly central to how international visitors plan, pay and travel. TAGTHAi Easy Pay extends the role of TAGTHAi beyond travel planning by providing a secure and convenient payment option while connecting tourist spending more directly with businesses across Thailand."

Siam Piwat, operator of prominent retail and lifestyle destinations including Siam Paragon, ICONSIAM, and Siam Center, extends TAGTHAi Easy Pay privileges across its properties. Similarly, The Mall Group integrates the initiative throughout shopping centers such as The Mall Lifestore, Emporium, EmQuartier, and Emsphere, giving international visitors seamless access to retail, dining, and lifestyle merchants.
This major expansion into retail ecosystems highlights Thailand's ongoing transition toward a cashless tourism model. By embedding financial transactions directly into lifestyle privileges and transit passes, the initiative creates a closed-loop economic stimulus that benefits both high-value travelers and local urban merchants.
MBK Center, a prominent shopping destination in central Bangkok ranked fifth among Bangkok’s Top Attractions for 2026 by TripAdvisor, incorporates more than 1,000 Thai SME shops, restaurants, and cultural experiences like Khon performances and Muay Thai into the network. International visitors can access TAGTHAi Easy Pay by downloading the TAGTHAi application on the App Store or Google Play.
