The host posted a video clip explaining that his family's kitchen area must be temporarily closed following a sudden fire incident at his parents' residence.

The root cause of the blaze was traced back to a rechargeable headlamp that his father regularly used. The device had been plugged into an electrical outlet near the television before short-circuiting and exploding, sending burning sparks directly onto the nearby sofa, which acted as highly flammable fuel. Fortunately, his parents were not far away, conducting chores outside the main house area, allowing them to eventually notice the smoke and smell before rushing in to tackle the flames.
"ตอนแรกเนี่ยเราชาร์จไว้ตรงแถวๆ ทีวีใช่ไหมครับ หลังจากนั้นพอมันลัดวงจรแล้วก็ระเบิดเนี่ย มันก็ตกมาใส่ตรงโซฟาพอดี คือปกติเนี่ยเวลาคุณพ่อชาร์จพวกนี้ไว้เนี่ย แกก็ไม่ได้ออกไปไหนนอกบ้านไกลๆ นะฮะ"

Miraculously, no one was injured in the incident as his father managed to put out the fire before it escalated into a catastrophic disaster. However, the aftermath left the entire lower level covered in heavy black soot, damaging both the structure and key pieces of furniture.
Unattended charging of electronic devices remains a silent hazard in many modern households, particularly with rechargeable gadgets like headlamps, power banks, and portable tools that often feature unpredictable internal circuits. Heat accumulation or sudden short-circuits can ignite nearby materials like upholstery or curtains within minutes. Regular inspection of charging cables and unplugging devices immediately after full charge are vital preventative steps.
Following the mishap, Can decided to turn the unfortunate event into an opportunity to upgrade his parents' living space, initiating the first major renovation of the house in 10 years. The extensive refurbishment involves stripping old wallpaper, repainting the interior, packing away belongings, and completely remodeling the ground floor, which is expected to take around two to three days.

Veteran Thai actress Jariya Anfone, who experienced a remarkably similar scare in the past, commented to share her empathy, noting how fortunate it was that someone was awake and at home to prevent a tragedy.
