The primary agenda of the gathering was preparing strategies to handle the upcoming second and third readings of the fiscal year 2027 budget bill, scheduled for September 7-9.
When asked whether any specific directives were issued to party members, Anutin stated that coalition MPs are required to attend the sessions to ensure the bill successfully passes all legislative stages smoothly. He added that no special reminders were necessary, as attending and fulfilling parliamentary duties is something MPs naturally understand.

Addressing inquiries regarding the opposition's reported plan to use the budget debate as a rehearsal for a no-confidence motion, Anutin remarked that budgetary allocations involve government agencies across every ministry. Consequently, all MPs hold the rightful privilege to inquire and express opinions, while committee members carry the responsibility to provide explanations.
"How would I know what they are going to say? Whatever can be answered, we must be ready to address. But the budget is a matter between the committee and the MPs, not the cabinet."

Asked further whether the opposition could raise out-of-scope topics such as Senate collusion issues, the Prime Minister replied that he could not possibly predict what topics would be raised. He emphasized that anything answerable would be addressed, while reiterating that budgetary procedures involve committee members and representatives in Parliament rather than the Cabinet directly.
