Ratklao Indavudh Suwanrada, a party-list Member of Parliament from the Democrat Party, addressed the House of Representatives on September 9, 2026, during the second and third readings of the fiscal year 2027 budget bill worth 3.78 trillion baht. The parliamentary session took place at the Sappaya-Sapasathan Thai Parliament in Bangkok, focusing the debate on Section 21 regarding the Ministry of Justice.
During her parliamentary address, the Democrat MP raised serious questions regarding large-scale state construction projects. She specifically targeted the Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB) project involving the construction of two property storage facilities, which includes the ONCB Region 4 storage building project located in Khon Kaen province, with a total budget frame of approximately 70.6 million baht.
The party-list MP pointed out significant irregularities within the procurement and bidding process of this project. She questioned the transparency of the auction after discovering that the bidding process attracted only a single contractor participant, while the final proposed price submitted was merely 3,000 baht lower than the official government median price estimate.
