NIKE has teamed up with Hyperice to introduce the Air Zoom Hyperslide, a recovery footwear designed specifically to help athletes unwind after training. The centerpiece of the design is a removable Hyperslide Pod, which is magnetically housed inside the adjustable upper strap. This pod delivers up to three levels of heat, reaching temperatures of 47 degrees Celsius (117 degrees Fahrenheit), alongside three distinct vibration intensities running through 15-minute recovery cycles. Users can fine-tune these settings directly on the pod or pair it with the Hyperice app for expanded control options.
Beneath the foot, NIKE has integrated a full-length, low-profile Air Zoom sole engineered to supply soft and responsive cushioning during daily wear. While the active heat and vibration treatments are concentrated across the top of the foot, the underlying Air Zoom platform ensures optimal walking comfort, allowing the footwear to serve dual purposes as a dedicated recovery tool and casual streetwear.
The conceptual framework behind the slide draws inspiration from Hyperice's Venom line of heated vibration products, successfully scaling down portable recovery device technology into a wearable format.
