The women's golf showdown concluded with Team Europe wrestling the Solheim Cup back from the USA following a thrilling 15-13 victory at Bernardus Golf Club in the Netherlands, after both sides started the final day tied at 8-8.
Charley Hull, who had only managed half a point during the first two days alongside compatriot Lottie Woad, was selected by captain Anna Nordqvist to lead off in Sunday's singles. Hull responded by securing a 3&2 win against American Megan Khang, giving the European side an immediate boost.

Fellow top-10 player Lottie Woad also delivered for her team, clinching a 2&1 victory over fellow rookie Auston Kim, which sparked massive celebrations on the 17th green as Europe closed in on the required 14.5 points.
Captain Anna Nordqvist's tactical decision to send Charley Hull out first proved decisive. Although pairing Hull and Woad together during the opening two days drew some criticism, statistics highlighted that both players were among the top four for most birdies made throughout the week, validating Nordqvist's faith in their ability to set a strong tone in the singles.
European rookies also shone brightly, with Spain's Julia Lopez Ramirez defeating Yealimi Noh 3&2 and France's Nastasia Nadaud defeating Andrea Lee by the same margin. Veteran Carlota Ciganda later secured the winning tally in her penultimate match against Jennifer Kupcho.
