The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is celebrating the resounding success of the Amazing Thailand Ambassador initiative, launched on September 15, 2026. The high-impact campaign successfully reshaped how Thailand’s tourism is communicated globally, leveraging contemporary storytelling and the cultural influence of global superstar LISA through the “Feel All the feelings” campaign.
Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of the TAT, noted that the project was conceived to explore innovative communication methods tailored to modern traveller behaviours, where travel choices are increasingly inspired by emotional connections and authentic storytelling long before the journey begins.

The official launch event at Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan drew massive attention from global media, creators, and online audiences, instantly generating THB 409 million in PR value. TAT followed up with interactive activations under the theme “Feel All the feelings, Seeking Thailand’s Wonders,” inspiring audiences to turn digital engagement into physical travel adventures alongside LISA.
The campaign's success underscores the immense power of aligning a national tourism board with a top-tier cultural icon. By bridging digital inspiration with real-world travel, TAT effectively stimulated tourism across both major hubs and emerging secondary destinations, setting a new benchmark for modern destination marketing strategies.

- More than 89.4 million total TVC views
- Exceeded 464 million total media engagements

These digital metrics translated directly into tangible economic activity and tourism growth. According to Traveloka data for 2026, international demand for travel to Thailand grew by 10%, while domestic travel demand among Thais surged by 25%. Furthermore, accommodation bookings by Southeast Asian travellers increased by over 30% year-on-year.
Several destinations experienced a surge in popularity driven by travellers following LISA’s journey. The Red Lotus Sea in Udon Thani recorded a 79.66% increase in visitors and a 208.07% surge in tourism revenue in February 2026. Khao Sok National Park welcomed 34% more visitors between February and June 2026, while regional tourism revenue rose in Phayao (+8.48%), Chiang Rai (+3.11%), and Lampang (+2.83%) between January and May 2026.
