  • Adecco Group rolls out Salesforce Agentforce Coworker to 27,000 employees
  • The system runs on Anthropic's Claude and integrates into the Salesforce platform
  • Initial deployments were successfully piloted in the UK and France
  • Aims for over half of Adecco revenues to be driven by agentic AI by end of 2026

The Adecco Group announced on September 15 that it is deploying Salesforce's Agentforce Coworker to more than 27,000 employees across over 40 countries, following pilot programs conducted in the United Kingdom and France. The initiative integrates agentic artificial intelligence directly into the daily operational workflows of the global staffing organization.

Agentforce Coworker functions as an enterprise AI assistant built natively within the Salesforce platform and powered by Anthropic's Claude. It is tailored to assist sales and recruitment personnel by managing client and candidate interactions, providing staff with a unified access point to organizational knowledge, data, and systems that were previously scattered across numerous discrete tools.

Sales teams and recruiters can leverage the tool to identify priority prospects, compile sales briefings, enrich candidate data, and track lead statuses across different teams. Furthermore, recruiters are empowered to select qualified candidates and instantly initiate pre-screening, recruitment, or onboarding agents to streamline their administrative duties.

The tool also draws contextual insights from more than 2.5 million recorded agent-candidate interactions accumulated since April 2025. This global rollout builds upon a multi-year agreement signed between the Adecco Group and Salesforce in March, which runs through 2027 and provides unlimited global access to Agentforce 360 under specific enterprise licensing terms.

Deploying agentic AI at this enterprise scale highlights the broader industry shift toward autonomous systems capable of executing multi-step workflows rather than just assisting with isolated tasks. By centralizing vast recruitment datasets and pairing them with advanced reasoning models like Claude, staffing firms can significantly reduce time-to-fill metrics and enhance matching quality for both corporate clients and job seekers.

In its September statement, the group noted that it has already deployed agentic workflows across ten countries representing 50 percent of Adecco business revenues. Additionally, during the Dreamforce 2026 keynote in San Francisco, the company demonstrated Ada, a voice-based recruitment agent developed using Agentforce Voice.
