A fresh controversy has erupted in the Thai entertainment industry as actress Lukmee Ratsami spoke out against a woman named Nuch, accusing her of fabricating stories about them being in a relationship. Lukmee firmly stated that they have only known each other for roughly 6 to 7 years as fellow followers of the same monk at Sam Ngam Temple, with zero personal intimacy outside the temple grounds.
According to Lukmee, their interactions were strictly limited to Buddhist merit-making ceremonies or sharing meals in groups of 5 to 10 people with other disciples. She emphasized that she never called Nuch, met her privately, or knew anything about her personal life and business, though she frequently heard rumors regarding Nuch's legal troubles and financial disputes involving various women she brought to the temple.

The situation escalated when Lukmee went to the Bangkok South Criminal Court alongside her lawyer to follow up on Num Kanchai's case, where she coincidentally ran into Nuch. Although Nuch claimed she was there as a witness, Lukmee noticed she lingered after interviews, eventually sitting at the same table with prominent lawyers including Attorney Paisarn and his team.
Lukmee tried calling Nuch four times to demand an explanation out of fear that her reputation and her revered monk would be compromised by association, but her calls went unanswered. Nuch instead posted a photo on Facebook standing near Num Kanchai and the legal team with a caption implying heavy investigative work, and even returned to court the following day to cozy up to the lawyers.
This incident highlights a common security and reputational risk faced by public figures, where individuals with questionable intentions exploit public access, casual encounters, or photographs to fabricate associations and boost their own credibility. Such deceptive practices not only damage personal reputations but can also entangle unsuspecting celebrities in broader legal and social controversies.
What angered Lukmee the most was learning from industry seniors and makeup artists that Nuch had been going around claiming that Lukmee was once her secret lover before they broke up, a tactic also used against Pat, CEO of Pak Talat. This prompted Lukmee to draw a hard line, demanding public accountability and warning fellow celebrities to be extremely cautious about who they take photos with.
