- Mawin Taweepol and Tui Piyawadee spent four years undergoing nine fertility procedures.
- He suffered from chronic asthma and lung damage due to extreme overwork and exhaustion.
- He made a firm resolution to end generational family violence with his own generation.
- He emphasizes teaching his child the value of sharing, giving, and respecting others.
Mawin Taweepol has shared his challenging journey of trying to have a child with his wife, Tui Piyawadee Maleenont, spanning four full years across nine attempts. When they first began the process at ages 43-44, medical tests showed exceptionally high counts of healthy sperm and eggs, with Tui producing around 8 to 10 eggs per month. However, due to aging, demanding work schedules, and physical exhaustion, their reproductive cell quality significantly declined.
Throughout the IVF procedures, they experienced heartbreaking setbacks. After initially fertilizing eight eggs down to seven embryos, the number continued to drop until the attempts failed. The process caused severe stress and friction during the first and second attempts, prompting them to reevaluate their approach until they reached their eighth attempt, agreeing that they would stop to prevent further physical and emotional pain for his wife.

Beyond his fertility struggles, Mawin reflected on his childhood trauma of facing domestic violence and physical abuse, which left permanent physical scars. He vowed that this cycle of violence must end with his generation, ensuring his child will never experience such abuse. He expressed a strong aversion to physical violence against women, choosing instead to live and raise his family with gentleness.
"The lack of warmth, abuse, and family violence must end with my generation. My child must never experience those things. Being slapped, beaten, or battered stops with me."

Regarding his health, Mawin faced a severe health crisis last September. Juggling relentless work schedules, traveling to different provinces, returning home late at night, and waking up early to help care for his family led to a frightening episode where he struggled to breathe and experienced rapid heart palpitations. Doctors diagnosed him with chronic asthma and lower lung damage resulting from severe fatigue and weakened immunity, stemming from his premature birth at just 1.7 kilograms. Doctors warned he required strong inhalers and a full year of recovery, prompting him to undergo comprehensive health checks out of a strong fear of death.
Mawin Taweepol's candid confession highlights the hidden emotional and physical tolls modern couples face when balancing demanding careers with family planning. Furthermore, his stance on breaking the cycle of domestic violence underscores a modern parenting philosophy centered on emotional safety, empathy, and mutual respect.
Looking forward, Mawin aims to raise his child to be generous, community-oriented, and respectful, enjoying their time together as food creators. Motivated by a profound scare regarding his health, he has returned to rigorous workouts in his home gym to ensure he remains healthy and present for his family's future.
