Istanbul-based designer Sami Savatli has introduced LOVE, a two-piece collectible design collection comprising the LOVE Chair and LOVE Side Table. Conceived at the intersection of design and sculpture, the collection explores how structure, material, and gesture can transform familiar forms into objects with an independent spatial presence.
The LOVE Chair takes the familiar outline of the heart as its point of departure, removing it from conventional symmetry and symbolism. Lines extend, divide, and reconnect, moving between silhouette and support, while shifts in volume allow the object to read differently from each viewpoint.

The LOVE Side Table develops the same design language without repeating the heart literally. Its branching structure carries the movement of the chair into a more compact form, connecting the two pieces through proportion, rhythm, and construction rather than visual repetition.
Reinterpreting a universally recognized symbol like the heart within collectible design elevates functional objects into contemporary art pieces. The use of cast aluminum combined with individual hand-finishing emphasizes artisanal value in an era dominated by mass production.
Both pieces are produced in Istanbul in cast aluminum and individually finished by hand. Subtle irregularities in surface texture and reflection are retained, giving each object its unique material character as light moves across the aluminum, shifting between solidity and visual lightness.
