Lume Traveler Ranger 2026: Lightest Caravan with Kitchen

Lume Traveler, based in the Netherlands, has rethought caravan spatial design by moving one of its bulkiest interior features outside. The new Ranger model places the kitchen into a pull-out module along the exterior body, transforming food preparation into an outdoor experience while giving the compact cabin significantly more breathing room. The aluminum trailer measures 5.19 meters in total length including the drawbar, stands just over two meters wide, and weighs 1,150 kilograms when empty.

This layout dictates the entire floor plan. A fixed Auping queen bed occupies the rear, leaving enough room for an enclosed bathroom and a compact seating area. Built specifically for two occupants, the Ranger also incorporates a pop-up roof that lifts after parking, expanding the volume of the low-profile cabin overhead during stays.

From the outside, the Ranger retains the signature silver aluminum skin and rounded contours familiar across Lume Traveler's lineup. Inside, the material palette shifts toward warmer tones, featuring teak flooring underfoot and wool felt wrapping the walls and ceiling. Leather accents add tactile detail to a space where nearly every surface is within arm's reach. The bed remains permanently fixed rather than folding away, giving the rear section the cozy feel of a tiny bedroom, while integrated storage and power outlets are distributed throughout the cabin.
