Popular everyday beverages like Red Bull, Sponsor, and Mansome involve extensive research, formulation, and ingredient design behind the scenes to meet changing consumer behaviors. Every bottle and can carries a significant layer of innovation.
At KMITL EXPO 2026: From Lab to Life, TCP Group, a leading Thai beverage and consumer goods manufacturer, invited visitors to explore these behind-the-scenes processes through an exhibition featuring product innovations, packaging, and interactive activities tailored for modern lifestyles.
The key highlight of the booth is the introduction of three new products, led by Sponsor Pro Energy Gel+, an energy gel infused with minerals developed in collaboration with sports nutritionists and Thai runners. It features Cluster Dextrin for continuous energy release and to reduce stomach discomfort during running, available in original and watermelon-berry flavors ahead of its official launch in October.
The second product is Red Bull Soda, a fruit-flavored energy soda containing 500 milligrams of taurine along with vitamins B3, B6, and B12, designed for younger consumers seeking an easy-to-drink, sugar-free energy option. The third product is Sponsor Isotonic, Thailand's first isotonic sports drink with a calamansi orange flavor, formulated with lower sweetness and an osmolality close to bodily fluids for rapid hydration.
Additionally, the TCP booth features multiple zones, starting with the Lab Zone focusing on health and lifestyle product concepts, followed by the Smart Manufacturing zone demonstrating resource efficiency and environmental impact. All TCP packaging, including aluminum cans, glass bottles, PET plastic bottles, and snack packs, is developed to be 100% recyclable.

Major beverage players like TCP pivoting toward niche innovations such as athletic energy gels and 100% recyclable packaging reflects a broader global shift in the food and beverage industry. Moving away from traditional mass production, companies are increasingly focusing on functional, personalized nutrition and environmental sustainability to build deeper connections with modern consumers who care deeply about both personal health and the planet.
Visitors can also test their limits at the Red Bull Power Race zone, a fitness racing competition featuring a Squat station. Daily top performers will win a chance to compete in the actual tournament on October 17, 2026, bringing the From Lab to Life concept to a tangible reality.
