Transport Minister Suriya Jungrungreangkit has instructed the Royal Irrigation Department (RID) to accelerate water drainage operations along the Rangsit Prayoonsak Canal to mitigate the impact of accumulated rainwater and prevent severe flooding affecting local residents.
Following the directive, RID Director-General Wittaya personally visited the site to inspect the water situation. He coordinated closely with local administrative organizations and community leaders to integrate efforts, aiming to maximize water discharge capacity toward the Chao Phraya River.

Managing water levels in the Rangsit Prayoonsak Canal is a critical strategy for flood control in northern metropolitan Bangkok.
