Suchart Orders MNRE Mobilization for Flood Relief
Natural Resources and Environment Minister Suchart Chomklin has directed ministry officials to deploy machinery and personnel nationwide following government flood policies.

Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, revealed that in alignment with the government's policy led by Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul—which prioritizes public welfare during natural disasters—he has instructed Dr. Rabiabwan Puridet, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, to coordinate all affiliated agencies across the central, eastern, and other regions nationwide to work closely with provincial governors and local administrative organizations in assisting flood and flash flood victims.
The Minister emphasized that all regional units must monitor conditions closely and provide full support to provincial governors. This includes mobilizing personnel, water pumps, heavy machinery, and emergency equipment into disaster zones as quickly as possible to alleviate public hardship.

Furthermore, Mr. Suchart instructed the Permanent Secretary to coordinate with subordinate agencies to open up ministry facilities as temporary shelters for displaced residents and secure parking areas for vehicles, aiming to reduce property damage and offer vital assistance to citizens residing in high-risk zones.
The rapid mobilization ordered by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment highlights inter-agency crisis management during severe flooding. Leveraging regional offices as emergency shelters and vehicle parking zones directly addresses critical logistical challenges faced by evacuating citizens.
