Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Social Development and Human Security, has addressed the flooding situation in Bangkok, specifically concerning the Lat Krabang and Bang Chan industrial estates, which have experienced water accumulation following heavy rainfall. He assured the public that the current situation has not impacted the broader economy or industrial production sectors.
Based on recent assessments, relevant agencies, including the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM), have deployed personnel to survey damages and assist affected residents. Additional water pumps have been installed in high-risk zones to expedite drainage from low-lying areas as quickly as possible.
