On September 28, 2026, Natural Resources and Environment Minister Suchart Chomklin, accompanied by Permanent Secretary Dr. Raveewan Bhuridech, visited flood-affected residents at the Bangkok coordination center in Lat Krabang, located inside King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL).
During the visit, Minister Suchart ordered the full mobilization of unified ministry forces, adding six mobile field kitchens alongside rescue boats and personnel to urgently deliver food, drinking water, and essential supplies to residents in areas where cars cannot pass.

The minister emphasized that food must reach the people and boats must penetrate every affected community, paying special attention to vulnerable groups such as the elderly, young children, and patients, while stressing strict cooperation among all units.

For upcoming relief operations, the ministry has scheduled a follow-up visit to the Rom Klao housing community on September 29 to further alleviate hardship and provide continuous assistance to affected citizens.
Severe flooding in Lat Krabang often poses logistical challenges due to dense residential layouts and narrow sub-sois. Deploying mobile field kitchens combined with flat-bottom boats is a critical strategy to ensure fresh cooked meals reach stranded residents efficiently without requiring risky travels.
