Flood situations in various areas continue to disrupt households and transportation, particularly in Bangkok and its surrounding vicinities. Although major roads have resumed normal traffic, eastern Bangkok and low-lying canal zones still face high flood levels requiring close monitoring.
Major General Winthai Suvaree, spokesperson for the Royal Thai Army, disclosed on September 28, 2026, that the Army Disaster Relief Center coordinated with the First Army Area and local units to urgently distribute aid to residents affected extensively across central Thailand and Bangkok.
During this operation, the army equipped relief units with extensive disaster-response gear, including 288 vehicles, 20 rubber and flat-bottom boats, 9 field kitchen trucks, and dual-system drones to support the transportation of citizens, vulnerable groups, and distribution of supplies.

The massive deployment of military personnel and specialized equipment reflects the complex challenges of urban flooding in the capital and surrounding provinces.
