During her on-site inspection, Sirikanya observed that water remains stagnant in various low-lying communities without showing significant signs of reduction, causing prolonged hardship for daily life and local transportation that demands urgent intervention from relevant authorities.

Furthermore, she emphasized the critical need to expedite water drainage operations from the affected zones as quickly as possible, aiming to clear the areas before confronting the impending arrival of northern runoff combined with seasonal high sea tides.
Water management in the lower Chao Phraya River basin during the flood season is inherently complex, requiring tight coordination between the Royal Irrigation Department and local administrative organizations to operate floodgates. Stagnant water points to potential bottlenecks in secondary drainage systems and pump capacities, meaning failure to lower main canal levels now will severely compound future flood risks when upstream water arrives.
