Berlin-based LAS Art Foundation (formerly Light Art Space) is redefining the art world by fusing cutting-edge technology with immersive exhibitions held outside traditional museum white cubes, utilizing famous club and industrial venues like Halle am Berghain and Kraftwerk in Berlin.
Operating as a nomadic organization since its establishment in 2016 by Bettina Kames and co-founder Jan Fischer, the foundation has filled alternative spaces with large-scale installations by artists such as Ian Cheng, Laure Prouvost, and Jakob Kudsk Steensen, while also expanding its reach to Venice with projects by Josèfa Ntjam and Natasha Tontey.

In an interview with designboom, CEO and co-founder Bettina Kames discussed their mission for new media, emphasizing that their use of lighting and sound is backed by rigorous curatorial standards rather than relying solely on flashy visuals.

Quantum computing utilizes quantum mechanics principles to process complex datasets exponentially faster than classical computers. The integration of quantum sensing and AI diffusion models into contemporary art exhibitions demonstrates an innovative bridge between advanced scientific research and public experiential learning.
A prime example is Laure Prouvost's 2025 exhibition titled WE FELT A STAR DYING, created in collaboration with Google AI Quantum and their lead scientist, which led to the development of a custom quantum AI diffusion model specifically for moving imagery.
