- Grokipedia rolls out v0.3 update featuring a newly refreshed visual design and logo.
- The updated homepage introduces interactive 3D-style digital books for featured reads.
- Live edits and article top tables receive layout improvements for better usability.
Grokipedia, the AI-powered encyclopedia competitor to Wikipedia developed under SpaceXAI, has resumed active updates and introduced a fresh visual overhaul. Following months of stagnant editing activity, the platform has officially launched version 0.3, bringing a brand-new logo, a redesigned homepage, and an upgraded live edits interface.
Benji Taylor, head of design at SpaceXAI, described the release as a newly refreshed version of the platform. While the original homepage consisted of little more than a simple logo and a search bar, the latest version transforms the landing experience into a media-rich portal.

Key design changes included in the v0.3 rollout consist of the following updates:
- Redesigned Homepage: Now features dedicated sections for featured articles, most-read pieces, and a live edit tracker.
- Digital Book Metaphor: Featured articles are represented as digital 3D-style books that users can spin around.
- Horizontal Bookshelf: The most-read section utilizes a scrolling bookshelf layout featuring stylized book spines.
- Refined Article Layouts: Information tables at the top of pages feature cleaner formatting with tighter line spacing throughout the text.
This sudden burst of activity and visual polishing suggests renewed internal momentum for Grokipedia at SpaceXAI. Earlier this year, a report published by Lawfare in August pointed out that the platform's entries had remained entirely untouched for over three months, prompting speculation that the project had stalled. Although SpaceXAI declined to immediately comment on the latest changes, the v0.3 update indicates ongoing technical and design commitment to the AI encyclopedia.
The platform initially debuted as version v0.1 in late October 2025 utilizing AI-cloned Wikipedia entries, followed by a v0.2 update a month later. Despite earlier periods of inactivity, the latest version demonstrates an effort to establish a distinct visual identity separate from its initial cloning roots.
