Hollywood power couple Tom Holland and Zendaya have been a constant presence on red carpets this summer, stepping out once again on Wednesday evening for the London premiere of their latest film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, surrounded by crowds of eager fans in Leicester Square.
It has been a whirlwind year for the married couple, who are also set to star together in Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster The Odyssey. When BBC News asked Zendaya if she had any advice for couples working together, the 29-year-old star replied, “I think when you’re best friends, it’s pretty easy.”
Holland reprises his role as Peter Parker and his superhero alter-ego in the new instalment, while Zendaya returns as his onscreen love interest, MJ. Read into it how you will!”
Holland, who has portrayed Spider-Man since 2016, attended the premiere in a burgundy Louis Vuitton suit accented with a spider brooch. He told BBC News that returning to the set was “really fun,” though he noted there is an “endless” roster of characters within the Marvel Cinematic Universe he would love to cross paths with next.
The new film also introduces fresh talent, including Stranger Things breakout star Sadie Sink, who has joined the franchise in a strictly confidential mystery role.
