On September 14, 2026, Mr. Yingcheep Atchanont, director of Internet Law Reform Dialogue (iLaw), addressed the public following the Election Commission's (EC) resolution to indict 26 individuals involved in the 2024 Senate election rigging scandal. He stated that this legal action clearly confirms the presence of systemic fraud and irregularities that his organization has tracked since the beginning.
However, iLaw believes that the current indictments have only reached low-level candidates while failing to touch the masterminds orchestrating the entire network. Consequently, the organization plans to disclose a new batch of evidence to the public to shed light on the hidden coordination networks behind the Senate selection process.

According to iLaw's monitoring throughout the 2024 Senate selection, several anomalies were detected at grassroots levels, including large groups of candidates wearing identical yellow shirts, possession of candidate number cheat sheets, and synchronized voting patterns. These indicators strongly suggested a pre-arranged setup designed to push predetermined individuals into office.
Monitoring the composition of the Senate is vital for maintaining transparency in Thai politics, as the upper house holds constitutional powers to review legislation and appoint independent bodies. Electoral irregularities at this stage directly impact the national balance of power. Furthermore, Yingcheep revealed that deeper forensic tracing of evidence has uncovered links connecting the scheme to individuals associated with a specific political party. This network reportedly includes members of parliament, former MP candidates, parliamentary assistants, and family members who engaged in recruiting candidates, financial transfers, and coordinating group meetings across various locations.
