On September 23, 2026, at 1.30 PM, former Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and her husband Anusorn Amornchat are set to await the Supreme Administrative Court's ruling at Courtroom 4 of the Central Administrative Court building, concerning their petition for a retrial over financial compensation liabilities.
Under case red number PhM. 3/2569, Yingluck and her husband previously filed a lawsuit against the Prime Minister and eight other defendants. The suit challenged the order compelling her to compensate the Ministry of Finance, acting in her former capacity as Prime Minister and Chair of the National Rice Policy Committee, over allegations of ignoring corruption and failing to prevent state damages within the rice pledging project.
Previously, the Central Administrative Court issued an order on January 13, 2026, rejecting the initial petition to reopen the case, which led the plaintiffs to bring the matter before the Supreme Administrative Court for a final review on whether the retrial request would be accepted.
